You have to shoot lasers, missiles and other projectiles at fantasy creatures. Some of these are abstract, but there are also detailed characters featured. Dragons, boss battles against a brain and a giant head with fangs are a few of these detailed characters. They all respond unrealistically to the violence shown. Taking multiple missile barrages without any apparent harm or disappearing after just one hit.
