Rating issues

Violence can be inflicted on animals, fantasy and human characters, this is achieved through encounters using fists, wooden clubs, swords and magic. The majority of the violence towards fantasy characters is non-realistic, however there are occasions when it is possible to decapitate or dismember a character, this is accompanied by some blood and sound effects. The character remains visible, minus body parts for the duration of that event.

Violence towards human characters is non-realistic looking, however each combative event consists of a number of enemy characters attacking the player’s character with swords, no injuries towards the player are seen except for a darkening of the screen perimeter. The attackers when struck by a sword do bleed and utter a pain noise but there is no realistic physical response, they eventually fall to the ground where they will lie until the end of that particular combat. These types of battles are repeated throughout the level and consequently the violence is determined to be sustained.
