Rating issues

Set on the eve of the French Revolution and in keeping with the franchise, Assassin’s Creed Unity features frequent strong violence, sometimes towards defenceless persons. Though discouraged, the player can make their assassin attack multiple pedestrians, with realistic and bloody effects.

Others scenes of violence against defenceless persons include one in which a woman is held to a pole by two men and whipped across the face, leaving a painful-looking welt.

The game features several scenes of gross violence, including one scene in which a man is held down and has his foot sawn off, so that he might make more money from begging. There are also several scenes of beheading.

Strong language also features, with the use of the word ‘fuck’.
