Rating issues

This game contains frequent depictions of graphic violence. Powerful attacks with weapons can cause decapitation or dismemberment. Blood flows from wounds and severed limbs are seen lying on the floor after they have been cut off. When a concealed blade is used to assassinate an enemy, it is shown inside the victim’s body as it slices through and pierces various organs.

The game also contains infrequent depictions of motiveless killing of innocent people. There is a section of the game in which the player must pillage a town. A number of the humans the player encounters are innocent men and women who can be killed indiscriminately. A large number of these characters will scream and try to flee. However, they can still be chased and then killed.

The game also features depictions of violence towards defenceless human characters. There are multiple examples of humans being tortured or killed whilst they are restrained and unable to escape.

There is also frequent use of strong language (‘fuck’ and ‘cunt’).

Other issues

This game offers players the opportunity to purchase in-game items in the form of in-game currency, downloadable content and season passes, which some parents or carers may want to be aware of. Parents, carers or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items.
