There is mild violence against human and animal characters throughout the game. However, the violence is comical and unrealistic. Characters can be knocked down, resulting in comic book-style speech bubbles appearing which say things such as ‘Pow’ or ‘Oof’. Characters can also be knocked into the air, or have stars circling their heads. There are no visible injuries. When Asterix or Obelix’s health is depleted, they simply fall or sit down and the level ends.
