Rating issues

Documentary material includes use of strong language (‘f**k’), as well as milder terms such as ‘shit’.

There are also discussions, during interviews, about the use of illegal drugs in the past as a way of boosting creativity during game production.

Other issues

Interviewees refer to a game in which the player’s character, a child, must avoid paedophiles. There are also discriminatory references in interviews, including verbal references to outdated stereotyping, such as a person using make-up to play a different ethnicity.

Many of the games in the collection feature mild violence, including one fighting game that features small blood effects and human characters falling to the ground when their health bar is depleted.
