This is a first person perspective action game using medieval implements of war: swords, maces, longbows, and other weaponry of the time are used to hack, smash, and rain arrows down upon enemies. The game also features ballistas, catapults, and boiling oil to use on enemies. Bladed weapons will allow the player to decapitate or dismember an enemy character, when a head or limb is removed, blood and gore is displayed. Villagers can also be subjected to violence and killed, however in this case the level of violence remains realistic and not gross.
