Rating issues

Violence is mild and comical and takes place in a cartoon-style setting. Most enemies fall down with stars circling their heads or simply disappear in a puff of smoke. There are never any visible injuries. When the player’s characters are hit they lose a life and may be knocked backwards or say “Ow”. When defeated, they faint and respawn at a checkpoint. Bosses have a health bar that depletes and they are knocked down comically when defeated.

Some of the game’s bosses and settings may be slightly scary to young children, such as a Halloween-themed area and a large dragon boss. The cartoon-style setting means they’re not too scary, however.

Other issues

One boss fight takes place in a casino, on a giant roulette table. The boss throws dice at the player but there’s never any interaction with casino games, explanation of casino games, or glamorization of casino games.
