Cobalt is a side scrolling game about cyborgs, weapons and super slow-motion evasive manoeuvres, including combat rolls, rail slides, rocket punches and wall jumps.

Rating issues

Gameplay involves the player’s character traversing various platform levels whilst shooting or blowing up opposing forces which are comprised of fantasy characters such as robots, cyborgs and mushrooms. Depending on the type of weapon used a character can be killed with one shot or a number of shots, grenades will cause the more immediate demise of a character, regardless of how a character is killed, it will explode into numerous indistinct parts.

There is the use of the word ‘ass’ and ‘crap’

The game features online playing capability which may involve real-time interaction with other players.
