Rating issues

The player’s character can be attacked by a variety of fantastical and supernatural creatures. These creatures can punch, kick or shoot the player. Although no blood is shown, there are gasps and pain noises as the character falls to the ground before the screen fades to black. These enemy characters often pursue the player relentlessly and are macabre in nature, including faceless zombies and characters with lampshades for heads. Combined with the eerie setting, creepy music and sound effects, and subdued lighting, the pursuit by these characters creates a sense of intense and sustained horror.

Other issues

Some puzzles require the use of body parts which must be removed. For example, in once scene, the player’s character is required to place his head on a guillotine, resulting in his head being cut off and rolling away. However, the character’s body then stands up and picks up the head to use in the puzzle. There is no blood or gore.

The game also includes use of bad language (‘bastard’).
