This game was rated PEGI 16 for occasional strong violence against human characters. Not suitable for persons under 16.
After witnessing the assassination of The Order of the Sword’s leader, young demon hunter Nero sets out to stop the assassin and series’ main character, Dante. The Special Edition includes new HD features, gameplay tweaks, modes and playable characters.

Rating issues

Cut scenes feature the most pertinent violence. For instance, in one, a man is stabbed through the stomach. As his enemy pushes the sword deeper into the bloody wound, he hunches over and yells in pain, then falls down limply as the sword is pulled from him. Gameplay violence is less realistic and mainly perpetrated against fantasy characters, with bright non-realistic flashes on impact.
