This game features mild violence, which is mostly directed at fantasy characters, although players also encounter some cartoonish human characters. Violence is unrealistic in nature: characters do not display visible harm or hurt, enemies disappear when defeated, and Mickey melts into paint when defeated.

The overall tone of the game is a little dark and the environments sometimes have a eerie atmosphere. Some of the enemies, especially the main monster, may scare younger children.
