Battles take standard turn-based form, with both magic and medieval weapons. Striking enemies with swords and spears will cause blood splatters and flinching, but enemies usually remain standing unless their health-bar has run out. Magical violence includes fire spells, meteor strikes and poison dart rainfall. Again, there is a lot of blood and characters fall to the ground, where their bodies remain.
