Don’t Starve Together: Console Edition

The game was rated PEGI 12 for occasional mild violence and some mild swearing. Not suitable for persons under 12.
“Don’t Starve Together: Console Edition” is the multiplayer version of the previously rated “Don’t Starve: Console Edition”, “Don’t Starve: Giant Edition” and “Don’t Starve: Reign of Giants” single player titles. It is a standalone product that does not require any of the previous titles to run.

You play as Wilson, an intrepid Gentleman Scientist who has been trapped by a demon and transported to a mysterious wilderness world. Wilson must learn to exploit his environment and its inhabitants if he ever hopes to escape and find his way back home.

Rating issues

Violence within the game, which takes the form of physical encounters with animal or fantasy characters, can result in the demise of the player’s character. After being hit a sufficient number of times the player’s character falls to the ground and a splash screen appears indicating that the character is dead. The violence however is non-realistic looking. There is also the use of mild swearing in the game – the word ‘bloody’ is used.
