Fantasy RPG game, set in the world of Thedas, which tells the story of a pair of corrupt ancient gods who have broken free from centuries of darkness and are hellbent on destroying the world.

Rating issues

This game contains depictions of graphic violence towards human and animal characters. There are scenes within the game that show humans and animals dying in horrific ways such as having their heart ripped out or being impaled. These scenes are accompanied by large amounts of blood and an emphasis on the pain that these acts have caused, i.e., characters screaming in pain or the sound of bones being broken.

This game contains use of strong language including ‘fuck’, as well as milder bad language including ‘shit’, ‘bastard’ and ‘piss’.

Other issues

Players are able to initiate sex scenes with romanced characters. When sex is initiated, the camera will pan away or fade to black, with characters being heard moaning. Sex acts are not shown on screen, but female characters’ breasts may be shown.

There are dead bodies that may be found in the environment, such as one scene where the player finds hanged bodies with sacks on their heads. Occasionally, bodies may be bloodied or burnt, but can’t be zoomed in on and no detailed gore is shown.
