Rating issues
Violence generally involves characters fighting using a mixture of weapons and magic. Damage is indicated by numbers and blows cause reductions in health gauges. When enemies are defeated, they fall down and disappear. If the player’s character is defeated, it falls down and becomes a glowing orb before respawning. Blood and injuries are not shown, although dead animals are seen lying on the ground.
Cinematic scenes feature stronger elements of violence, including a sequence in which a character is struck in the chest using a large heavy weapon and then finished off with a blow to the head. Although no blood or wounds are shown, the reactions are more realistic than in violence during gameplay.
Other issues
This game offers players the opportunity to purchase in-game items, in the form of items, weapons, outfits, pets, mounts, and benefit boosters, which some parents or carers may want to be aware of. Parents, carers, or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items.
The game also includes use of bad language (‘bastard’ and ‘piss’).
