One of the games, 64th Street: A Detective Story, is a side-scrolling beat-‘em-up, which takes place in an urban setting. It features scenes of non-realistic violence towards human characters. Humans engage in hand-to-hand combat, using kicks, punches, throws and weapons to hit each other. When characters are defeated, they fall to the ground and flicker until they disappear. There is no blood.
Violence in other games is milder and similarly non-realistic, including fights against fantasy characters. Human characters tend to flicker when hit and fall to the ground, while fantasy creatures may show small blood effects and explode when defeated. Some games feature implied violence, such as planes shooting other planes or spaceships shooting spaceships.
