Compilation of two games from the Gothic horror and vampiric legend-inspired series Legacy of Kain, originally released on the Sony PlayStation. Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain is a top-down action role-playing game in which players control a human who is bound in a contract with a vampire overlord, while Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver is a third person platform action adventure starring a vampiric wraith seeking vengeance against those who banished him.

Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen features depictions of non-realistic violence to human characters. In gameplay players discover restrained women and siphon off their life force, causing them to fall limp. However, the visual style is simple and there is no realistic detail. Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver features depictions of realistic looking violence to fantasy characters. Players can kill non-human enemies using various environmental hazards, such as throwing them onto fires, or impaling them on sharp decorations.
