One of the eight games, Arkagis Collection, is a sci-fi themed shooter in which players shoot incoming spaceships. When enemy ships are shot, they disappear in a small explosion, as does the player’s own spaceship. There is no sight of the pilots of any ships being injured, although it is implied they die when the ships explode. The action, especially in boss battles which feature robots piloted by humans, can be frenetic.

Some other games also feature enemy characters that flicker when hit and disappear. When the player’s character is hit, levels simply end.
