Rating issues

This game features moderate violence as the player’s henchmen fight against enemy agents. Characters can be shot, punched or kicked, although there are no realistic responses and no blood or injuries shown. Characters can also be caught by traps, including laser grids, shark tanks and flame exhausts. Triggering these traps causes victims to flinch minimally, or wave their arms and run around if they’re on fire. However, no blood or injuries are shown and damage is depicted by flashes and stars. When defeated, they disappear in a puff of smoke. Some characters reappear, when defeated, in the form of a body bag which can be sucked up with a vacuum gun. The player’s character can order the interrogation of enemy agents. However, this simply involves strapping them into a chair and tickling their feet.

The game also includes infrequent bad language, such as ‘bloody’ and ‘pissed’.

Other issues

This game offers players the opportunity to purchase in-game items, in the form of downloadable content, which some parents or carers may want to be aware of. Parents, carers, or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items.

Each lair includes a casino that is populated by civilians who can be seen playing at roulette tables and slot machines, as well as visiting the casino bar. It is possible to command your minions to play the slot machines, but the player has no direct control over the actual games and cannot participate in gambling.
