FINAL FANTASY II

This game has received a PEGI 7 because it features mild violence that lacks any apparent harm or injury to fantasy characters, and non-realistic looking violence towards characters which, although human, are not very detailed. Not suitable for persons under 7 years of age.
Updated re-release of the 1988 NES game in which players control four war-orphaned heroes who become embroiled in a conflict between the hostile Empire of Palamecia and the rebel resistance.

This game features turn-based battles in which players encounter a variety of human-like enemies and fantasy monsters. The violence in these battles is unrealistic, as are reactions to it. Characters flash when hit, with numbers indicating damage, and there are no visible injuries. When enemies are defeated, they dissolve and disappear. When a hero character is defeated, they faint.
