There is a constant sense of threat throughout as the player seeks to complete tasks while avoiding a sinister character closing in on them. If the sinister character reaches the player, there is a sudden ‘jump scare’ in which the character lurches towards the screen and the screen fades to black. The sense of threat is underpinned by a series of verbal threats from a creepy disembodied voice, for example suggesting the player’s character will be chopped up.
