Rating issues

This game contains strong references to suicide, self-harm, assisted dying and depression. One of the central characters appears to be a teenage girl who is said to have tried to take her own life on several occasions. At various points in the game, the girl states that she wants to die, asks to be killed by a wraith, and expresses the view that her death would be better for other people. She also makes reference to self-harming behaviour. Her behaviour and views are explained to have a supernatural motivation and purpose, related to saving the world, which distances them from more realistic discussions of suicidal thoughts and behaviours.

This game also contains use of strong language (‘fuck’), as well as various milder terms.

Other issues

The game also includes some depictions of violence, in the context of slow-moving still images. There include sight of a character being stabbed through the head by a magical blade, accompanied by blood splatter, and a demon being decapitated by a skateboard. There is also frequent sexual innuendo in dialogue. In one distressing scene, a dog is killed in order to prevent it becoming a stray when its owner dies. The killing is not shown, although a whimper is heard when the dog is killed offscreen.
