Rating issues

All combat during gameplay occurs between mechanised vehicles or aircraft operated by characters from the Beta race or humanity, however, none of the characters are seen whilst they are piloting the units. The Goo, being micro machines, can replicate mechanised units of various types.

When the mechanised units (Human, Beta and Goo) are hit by gunfire, the health gauge of the unit will be reduced in accordance with the severity of the damage caused. Once this reaches zero, the unit will disappear immediately. The violence depicted during gameplay combat is therefore determined to be non-realistic to all characters.

The game also contains cut scenes which provides the ongoing narrative for the chapter being played and it is during these that realistic looking violence towards fantasy characters (The Beta) and human characters (violence of a minor nature) is seen. One scene shows the Beta headquarters under attack and an explosion occurs which results in a Beta being impaled through the abdomen by a large jagged piece of metal; and a scene in which a human character is violently restrained by a Beta character. There is however, no obvious harm or injury to the human character.
