Hello Neighbor is a stealth survival game. The object of the game is for the player to successfully sneak into the basement of their neighbour’s house to uncover a “horrible secret”.

Rating issues

The game has a tense vibe. The neighbour is always watching and can catch you, which often give you a good scare. Later on, when you discover more about the plot, there is a character which is classified as a scary element. Together with the dark setting and strange environment, this is enough to warrant a PEGI 7 fear.

There are also some scenes which feature mild violence towards a humanlike character. However, the character in question is never actually harmed.
