The player’s character is tasked with assassinating various targets, including by shooting, stabbing and strangling them, with resultant blood effects. In some cases, the violence is more sadistic in nature, including plunging scissors into eye sockets and drowning a character by holding their head in a toilet bowl. There is an emphasis on the use of stealth in order to avoid detection.

While the objective is to assassinate specific targets, the player’s character can also kill innocent civilian characters, including by shooting them, catching them in explosions or causing large objects to fall onto them. Blood effects are shown and their bodies remain on the floor until the end of the level. These characters may attempt to flee, when they realise they are in danger, but they can still be killed as they try to escape. The game does not reward the player for such acts and killing innocent characters negatively effects your score.

There is infrequent use of strong language (‘fuck’).
