Rating issues
Violence is strong and realistic-looking, including shooting, stabbing and strangulation. Blood appears when characters are attacked and bodies remain visible until the end of the level.
While the objective of the missions is to eliminate specific targets, the player’s character is also able to kill defenceless characters, for example by throwing them off balconies or snapping their necks. Defenceless characters can also be caught by explosions or be crushed by objects. Innocent characters may also be killed as they try to escape. The game does not reward the killing of innocent civilians and such actions do lead to a reduction in your score.
There is infrequent use of strong language (‘fuck’).
Other issues
Although there is no sight of drug use, bricks of cocaine can be used to distract enemies. When the drug is thrown, it lets out dust which can cause other characters to pass out.
This game offers players the opportunity to purchase in-game items in the form of additional downloadable content, such as new missions. Some some parents or carers may want to be aware of this. Parents, carers or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items.
