The majority of the game violence is shown as being directed towards your character, but as the game is depicted in the first person and you cannot see the effects, this is considered to be implied only. However, there is a cinematic in which you see a screaming woman being brutally stabbed to death by a man in a mask who captures the entire event on camera. While no physical wounds are depicted, copious amounts of blood are shown, and her reaction is humanly realistic.
Sexual expletives and offensive language can be found throughout the game on objects around the home and in the audio, and include the words “fuck”, “fucked”, “bitch”, “pissed”, “shit”, and “whore”.
