This game contains elements that may be disturbing or scary to younger children. Players can encounter the dead bodies of other climbers, or be told that a climber, including the player’s character, has been injured. There are no graphic images of injury but text descriptions do refer to climbers being in pain, bleeding or being fearful. Such events may also be accompanied by a suspenseful soundtrack. Some of the routes feature eerie surroundings, in which the player is told they are being followed by sounds and noises, although nothing is visually depicted. If players run out of health, oxygen or body temperature, they may collapse, although this is not shown visually. Instead, the game will show a figure lying in the snow and explain what happened, after which the player can set out on a new journey.
