This game is based on the 2013 anime television series. It follows vagrant schoolgirl Ryuko Matoi on her search for her father’s killer, which brings her into violent conflict with Satsuki Kiryuin, the iron-willed student council president of Honnouji Academy, and her mother’s fashion empire.

Rating issues

This game contains frequent depictions of erotic partial nudity. A number of female characters are dressed in highly revealing costumes which expose the majority of their breasts, buttocks and pubic area. During special moves and finishing poses the camera often zooms in and focuses on these parts of their body. However, their nipples and genitals are always covered and not visible.

Other issues

The majority of the violence in the game is non-realistic in nature. Bright lights and magical effects appear on impact of attacks. Characters let out cries of pain when they have been injured, although there are no injuries visible on their bodies. This game also contains depictions of gruesome imagery which can be found in the cutscenes. There are two instances of violence which are paired with overexaggerated and stylized blood effects.
