Lies of P

This game has received a PEGI 16 because it features graphic violence to fantasy characters and scenes of intense and sustained horror. Not suitable for persons under 16 years of age.
Role-playing game, inspired by the story of Pinocchio, and set in the highly industrialized city of Krat in which puppets are relied upon for manual labour. Players take on the role of P, the puppet son of Geppetto, who must kill animatronic puppets and crazed humans following an unexpected uprising by the puppets, which has left the city in ruins.

Rating issues

There is graphic violence against fantasy puppet characters, which can be decapitated using swords and other finishing moves. When fantasy characters are hit, black oil/blood splashes out. When human boss characters are hit, there is sight of blood. Human bodies and red blood stains are also seen on the ground throughout the game, following the puppet uprising. Some have been decapitated. There is also a strong sense of threat and dread throughout and the dark locations can be quite threatening, as are the game’s jump scares.

Other issues

The game also includes some bad language, including ‘bastard’, ‘piss off’ and ‘goddamn’.
