Rating issues

This game contains depictions of realistic-looking violence towards human characters. When shot, characters groan in pain as they fall to the ground. Blood is seen both on the ground as well as on the character’s body.

This game also contains strong language including frequent use of the word ‘fuck’. Milder language is also present including words such as ‘shit’ and ‘damn’.

This game features depictions of the use of illegal drugs. During once scene, a character is seen smoking a joint. This is offered to the player and the player can choose whether or not to smoke it.

Similarly, the game also contains prominent use of alcohol. A scene is shown in which a character is trying to encourage the player to drink with them. The player is able to choose whether they want to join in with drinking or not.

Other issues

Sexual innuendo is present on several occasions in this game. Conversations between characters include phrases such as “what would you peg me for?”. Another scene sees a character announce to another “I could eat you under the table”. The other character laughs as they correct themselves with “that’s not what I meant”.

One of the themes that plays a key role in this game is the suicide of a close friend of a prominent character. This is never shown on screen, nor is the exact method or act discussed. The incident is only talked about during conversation.

There is discussion of transphobia in one scene in the game. One of the professors in the school is transgender and talks about how hard it was for them to ‘come out’ and the transphobia that came along with it.
