This game has received a PEGI 12 because it features use of bad language and scenes of a sexual nature. Not suitable for persons under 12 years of age.
First instalment in an episodic Japanese role-playing game, set in a future in which people live underground following an apocalyptic disaster. A young boy called Haru embarks on an adventure with his friend, Kuroko, as they travel through the subterranean world to learn more about the almost forgotten world above.

Rating issues

There is infrequent use of bad language (‘bastard’) and some scenes of sexual innuendo, such as a woman stating that she makes a good living by providing ‘services’.

Other issues

This game also includes turn-based battles in which the player’s characters fights a variety of opponents using both weapons and their physical and magical abilities. Actual combat is not depicted because the combatants do not move from their spots. Instead, damage is indicated by a reduction in health points, by a slash mark appearing over the hurt character, and by an audible cry. Once defeated, enemy characters fall to the floor or disappear. When the player’s characters are defeated, they stand with their heads bowed awaiting healing. Blood and injuries are not shown.
In the opening menu of the game there is an option to connect to the PSN store to buy another title in the developer’s catalogue called Super Night Riders (PEGI 3) but this has been determined not to merit an IGP descriptor.
