The action during battles with the super heroes is quick and frenetic, hits to the body of a character are masked by flashes of light. However, when human characters are killed they will remain visible on the ground for a period of time.

Cut scenes in the game provide incidents of violence that are regarded as realistic looking. These are seen, full screen and in a regular view rather than the top down view observed during gameplay. The more notable incidents are when Captain America uses his shield to disable an opponent and Wolverine uses his extended metal claws to stab and slash an enemy character. No blood effects have been seen.
