Some missions require the player to chase an opponent and bump into them a set number of times. This does not result in any noticeable damage or harm. In other missions, the player is chased by a black wave of bugs, lava or snow. If this catches up to the player, it results in an instant game-over. The only thing the player will see, however, is the car disappearing in the wave and a ‘game-over’ screen. In all of these cases, the cartoon-like visuals help make the violence less disturbing.
