This game was rated PEGI 12 for frequent scenes of mild violence, and dialogue of a sexual or mildly offensive nature. It is not suitable for persons under 12 years of age.
METAL MAX Xeno is an RPG that is set in post-apocalyptic Japan. AI-controlled robots and vehicles are hunting down the last remnants of humanity, and the few survivors that are left use tanks to fight back. The objective of the game is to search for survivors to add to your ranks, and defeat the monsters that are trying to kill you.

Rating issues

Violence occurs mainly in battle scenes between humans, tanks and monsters. Damage is dealt by numbers and injuries are not depicted.
Offensive language includes the words ‘asshole’, ‘bitch’, ‘bullshit’, ‘piss’ and ‘shit’.
Dialogue can at times be sexual in nature, discussing a character’s virginity in one scene and in another, a character commenting on how some ‘girls like it a little rough’. This is met with silently disapproving head-shaking from the women in the room.

Other issues

Some characters are depicted scantily clad or wearing sheets/towels but no nudity is shown.
