These games feature frequent mild violence in a pixelated 2D setting. The violence involves both human and fantasy characters. Violence against some fantasy characters, such as giant crabs, causes them to burst apart into pieces. In contrast, the shooting of humans results in a yell of pain and a spurt of red blood, after which the character falls to the ground. Zombies may also disappear into clouds of blood when they are shot. All bodies vanish shortly after they fall to the ground.
