Rating issues

The violence in the battles are similar to games such as Pokémon and Yo Kai Watch. The attacks shown on screen never really connect, characters flinch back no matter how weak or strong the attack. HP is deducted from a health bar when an attack lands.
Some cut-scenes feature dragons that could invoke fear. One is a smoke like dragon which goes on a rampage in a non-suspecting village. The other is a dark dragon that creates evil looking dark purple crystals that grow at an amazing speed. These characters roar close-up in the camera. The overall setting is dark and threatening.

Other issues

The overall style of the game is friendly and colourful. The monster hunter characters of the previous games have made way for cute anime-like characters in this ‘stories’ version.
