This game features strong violence, including scenes in which characters realistically hit and slash at each other, or become caught in traps. Blood effects are used, although there is no realistic injury detail to human-like characters. Some demonic characters feature more graphic injuries, such as an enemy which rips off its own head to use as a weapon and another which explodes into chunks when defeated. The players character is also able to rip glands from the bodies of some enemies, sometimes accompanied by large showers of blood.

The player’s character can consume a bottle of moonshine in order to gain an increase in their resolve, albeit at the expense of their own health.
