Rating issues
The game features a ‘Picture Poker’ mini-game, in which the player bets against Luigi in a casino setting. It provides a guide to the ranking of different cards (which feature pictures rather than a real-life deck) and hands (three of a kind, full house etc.). The player has the opportunity to bet more coins and swap cards before the hands are revealed.
Other issues
The majority of the game is not represented by this casino gameplay. It features a series of cheerful platformer levels and cartoonish reactions when Mario runs into obstacles and enemies.
