This game has received a PEGI 18 which restricts availability to ADULTS ONLY and is not suitable for persons under 18 years of age. This rating has been given because it features violence against vulnerable and defenceless characters, motiveless killing of innocent characters, and use of strong language.
Action first person shooter sequel in which Dallas, Hoxton, Wolf and chains are forced out of retirement by old enemies, taking part in heists and robberies in New York City.

Rating issues

This game features depictions of violence towards vulnerable or defenceless human-like characters. The player has the ability to take civilians hostage, who may be shot or used as shields. There are also depictions of motiveless killing of innocent characters. Some heists take place in broad daylight in heavily populated areas and the player can shoot and kill many innocent civilians. This can happen in banks and jewellery stores as well as on the street. Violence is strong, with characters recoiling from bullet impacts, with misty blood sprays.

There is use of strong language (‘fuck’).

Other issues

This game offers players the opportunity to purchase an in-game currency called ‘Payday Credits’ and in-game items in the form of weapons, masks, suits, cosmetics, upgrades and quarterly DLC, which some parents or carers may want to be aware of. Parents, carers or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items.
