The game features frequent strong violence. The majority is aimed at opposing police forces and rival criminals, but players may also conduct killing sprees of innocent civilians in banks, malls and other public places. They may also tie bystanders up and then shoot, knife or throw grenades at them. Restrained victims are also blown apart by explosives at certain points in the game. Many heists involve the manufacture, transportation and trade of illegal drugs such as methamphetamine and cocaine, for which the player will be rewarded with large sums of in-game money and infamy. The game also features frequent use of the word ‘fuck’ and variations of that word.
