Violence varies from abstract or child-friendly scenes with bright colours and no blood effects to mild, non-realistic arcade shooter and beat-em-up games.
Horrific scenes can be found in ‘Snatcher’ and include the body of a dog with its viscera exposed and the decapitated corpse of a man.
Bad language and scenes of light sexual innuendo can be found in ‘Ys I & II’ and includes the word ‘bastard’.
