This is a role playing game which is played in a 2D environment and all of the violence seen in the gameplay is at the PEGI 7 level. However there are still images which are viewed as cut scenes and provide a visual narrative for the story and are always viewed full screen. The images are of a high quality and are in complete contrast to the gameplay which if viewed on a standard monitor / TV is somewhat pixellated and lacking in detail. In all instances the images portray a human character that has been killed or injured.

Although none of the characters display any realistic injuries per se, there is the gratuitous use of blood effects on the face and body of the characters; one of the images is of a female character who is standing unassisted but has a sword protruding from her stomach, her body and face are covered in lots of blood trails and there is blood seeping from her eyes. She displays no emotion to the violence.
