Reimagined version of the classic SNES shoot-‘em-up themed around a Japanese shrine maiden and her racoon friend who set out on an epic quest to stop a demon from taking over the world.

Rating issues

This game features combat between non-detailed human-like and fantasy characters. Violence and reactions are over-the-top and unrealistic. Enemies flash when hit and then disappear in puffs of smoke when defeated. There is no visible injury or harm. The cartoon-like visuals help to make the violence less disturbing.

Each stage concludes with a boss-fight. These creatures can be menacing and may be frightening to younger children, most notably the final boss of the game.
