The gameplay violence is on the whole realistic looking, with shootings and frenzied stabbings the most common form violence. This occasionally degenerates into gross violence when the antagonists use their weapons to kill the player’s character a young girl; an example is where the matronly character repeatedly stabs the player’s character in the head with her scissors and the disfigured character kills the player’s character by pushing the pointed end of his walking stick up into her throat and out of her mouth. The walking stick also has a sharp edge and can be used to cause dismemberment.

The game dialogue contains the frequent use of the sexual expletive fuck and its derivations.
