Resident Evil Village: Gold Edition

This game has received a PEGI 18 which restricts availability to ADULTS ONLY and is not suitable for persons under 18 years of age. This rating has been given because it features graphic violence and use of strong language.
This compilation contains the base game, Resident Evil Village, as well as two DLCs. The Mercenaries Additional Orders is an arcade-like action shooter, while Shadows of Rose picks up the story of Rose sixteen years after the original campaign. There is also now a Third Person mode.

Rating issues

This game contains frequent depictions of graphic violence towards human-like characters, in both gameplay and cutscenes. Enemies can be attacked using firearms and explosives, resulting in cries of pain and strong blood and gore effects, including sight of decapitation and dismemberment. Stronger and more sadistic moments of violence, shown from a first-person perspective, include sight of hands being torn apart.

There is also frequent use of strong language (‘fuck’).

Other issues

The player can purchase additional in-game items with real money, including weapon packs, additional music tracks, accessories, additional difficulty levels, screen filter effects and concept art that is viewable in-game, which some parents or carers may want to be aware of. Parents, carers or other responsible adults should check to see what is being offered before making any purchase on behalf of a child. It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items.
