While you do not see any of these things occurring, themes of religious cultism, murder of outsiders, penance through sexual exploitation and a tariff of self-harm including the cutting, flogging, and the removal of appendages, run throughout the game. This culminates in a scene of the devotees voluntarily committing religious mass suicide by consuming barbiturates, which have been distributed by your character, then locking themselves in a church which they set ablaze. These characters are depicted as faceless shadows and do not display any physical reaction to the flames, nor are there any visible injuries.
The game also includes infrequent use of the word ‘shit’.
