A father is heard slapping his children as they whimper and cry, although this is not shown visually. There is also a scene in which two characters are stabbed, although they simply fall to the floor without blood or injury detail and the scene is shown from a distance. There is also use of bad language (‘bastard’) and a reference to suicide when a forest is described as ‘natural gallows’.
