Violence in the game is mostly towards non-detailed human characters, however some of the games feature more detailed characters. Violence in Eternal Champions, Virtua Fighter 2, Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master and the Golden Axe games is non-realistic in nature, with characters able to kick and punch opponents. You can also throw shuriken’s which causes some mild blood effects and bodies disappear after they are defeated. When battling the non-human looking enemies in Altered Beast, they disappear into chunks.
